My name is Dr. Douglas P. Brust and I am a St. Louis Chiropractor. I’d like to take a minute to introduce myself and tell you a little bit about my practice. I have been in business for over eighteen years and my office is located near the intersection of Highway 40 and Bellevue Ave., just south of St. Mary’s Hospital.
I have respect for both the medical profession and medicine itself; however, at times there may be patients who don’t completely respond to either of these measures and may require additional help. Patients with joint and spinal pain could truly benefit from my therapies, even in cases where physical therapy has failed to achieve the desired results. I am extremely thorough in the services I provide and it is rare to find someone that I cannot help.
I am also certified to practice St. Louis acupuncture, which can be beneficial in the treatment of headaches as well as the treatment of chronic pain of the neck, back, and extremities and to help quit smoking.
Most often people think of chiropractic only in terms of treating back pain, however, I have outstanding success in the treatment of sciatica, carpal tunnel, whiplash, numbness of the arms and legs and headaches, in addition to pain in the areas of the neck, ribs and extremities. I am a provider for most insurance plans including, but not limited to, Aetna, Anthem, Cigna, GHP, Healthlink, Mercy, PHCS, and United Healthcare. Uninsured patients are also accepted.
