Willkommen, bienvenue, welcome.

The past few months have been a cornucopia of activity for us. We performed a sold out showcase at the venerable South by Southwest Music Festival in March and conquered New York City, with two fantastic performances, in April. A great evening of music on the eve the Kentucky Derby, a quick visit to the state capitol, Frankfort, the premiere of Burn to Shine Vol. 4 (available December, 2010, details on how to get it forthcoming) in May, and an “eye opening” performance at the 9th annual Forecastle Festival this July.

We’ll be performing at Boomslang, the River Crossing Festival, and Nulu Festival in the fall. Details on all of these shows, and possibly more available on our Shows page. After that, we’re letting hibernation set in for the winter (and you know how brand new albums can spontaneously happen during hibernation).

If you need to get your aural fix: The Yellow Belt 7″ vinyl, featuring exclusive tracks “Kablooey” by us and “Super Volcano” by Prizzy Prizzy Please, is currently available. On yellow wax with custom matchbook packaging by Dexterity Press, no digital version available, a unique deal at $6 (shipping not included). Order from us or at karatebodyrecords.com. Limited quantities, so once they’re gone, that’s it. Our second album, “The Bubble Has Burst In Sky City”, on sonaBlast! Records, is also available for download on Lucky Pineapple - The Bubble Has Burst In Sky City; Amazon MP3 and emusic!

You can reach us here, and also investigated via the online networking option of your choice (check under more info on the right side). For booking and business related things, you can contact our manager, McKinley Moore.

Finally the video for our song Moment in an Empty Street is always available to watch here with your computer.
