Nouveautés: Shows, Objects, Etc.

1. Shows: New out-of-town and the occasional in-town show will be/have been added to the Shows page. We’ve got all kinds of things in the works, so check back often if you’re interested in seeing and hearing us play songs in front of you. We’re interested in playing songs in front of you... it’s hopefully just a matter of time.

2. Objects:  If it’s recorded music you’re looking for here, we’ve got some for ya...
Our new album, The Bubble Has Burst In Sky City is now available in a variety of places. You can obtain a copy in the following ways and formats:

  • If you’re interested in having an actual physical copy of the CD in a digipak with artwork by the great Andrew Padon, you can get one in Louisville at Underground Sounds or ear X-tacy, you could order one directly from Noise Pollution, or you could talk to us after a show.

  • If you’d like to download all or some of the songs from the album, you can do so at iTunes, eMusic, or Amazon.

We’ve dropped the prices on our first CD, The New Rainbow, as well as on our t-shirts. Both are now only $6 each and can be ordered on our Store page. We're down to only a few small sized shirts, hopefully we'll be able to make something new in the near future. We’re also down to less than a hundred copies of The New Rainbow, with no plan to re-print it in the foreseeable future, so if you always wanted a copy but never got around to it, you might wanna buy it now, or else you might have to deal with some dude on eBay. (Note: that link is meant to be cheeky, not to suggest that you bid on whatever it links to right now, though you very well may be so inclined.)

In other object related news, we’ve got a track on this year’s
Louisville is for Lovers compilation, which is now available. This year’s edition is a bit different from previous years in that the first 100 copies of the CD will come with an additional CD of music. See the website for a complete track listing and ordering information. Another extra cool thing about this year’s LifL is that Karate Body, a new Louisville vinyl-only record label, will be pressing a limited edition of red and white vinyl copies. You can order one (or several) through their myspace page.

3. Etc.: We’ve recently welcomed McKinley Moore as our booking agent and generally helpful gent. He’ll be handling most all of our booking and whatnot from here on, so inquiries along that line can be directed to him through our email or through MySpace.

There are a few new updates in other places to the site, so look around if you’ve got the time.
As always, we would love to hear from you, be it to ask “What’s up?”,to subscribe to our mailing list, to speculate wildly about the meaning behind songs, or to enquire about booking. Or pretty much anything else.  We can be contacted here
